Project Update - May 24

What an incredible week! Construction is complete on the green surrounds on holes 2, 7, 9 and 16. While the sod was completed on 2 and 9 last week, we were able to finish sod installation on holes 16 and 7 yesterday. The first mowing was completed on holes 2 and 9 and it looks great! We are still waiting for better root establishment of the paspalum sod around the greens before opening for play. It is anticipated that holes 2 and 9 will be open June 1st with 7 and 16 to follow the next week. The bunkers will be played as ground under repair until sand is installed in late June.

Rough shaping on tees has taken place on holes 4, 8 and 16. Shaping work will begin on 12 tee tomorrow with 14 tee beginning early next week. At this stage in the project, we will move all necessary material to where it is needed for each tee. Once this is complete on all holes, we will then come back to smooth and level to the final grade before grassing. We currently estimate tee construction to be complete by June 14th.
