Hole #8
Recently, a portion of the wall surrounding the pond by #8 green was removed. Sections of this wall were failing and had collapsed into the water. This provided conditions that were not only unsightly but potentially dangerous.
The work to remove the wall has left this area in a state of disrepair. Labor shortages due to precautions over COVID-19 has slowed this process. It is expected that our staffing numbers will soon return back to normal. At that point, it is our intent to not only repair the area damaged by construction but also make improvements to the lower section of #8 fairway. The current plan is to provide a natural grass slope into the water, similar to other ponds on the golf course.
The area inside the ropes on #8 should be played as Ground Under Repair until further notice.

A large excavator was used to remove sections of the wall on Hole #8. |
